Whenever I find myself in a dark place, I instinctively look beyond myself for guidance. For me, that is God, but this work is ultimately about seeking whatever higher source of wisdom, hope, or truth resonates with you; whether that be God, the universe, your ancestors, spirit guides, or something else entirely.
The swans became symbols of grace, purity, and gentle guidance, surrounding a figure searching for direction. Lead Me to Where It Is Pure is both a prayer and a reminder to seek spaces, people, and experiences rooted in love, compassion, sincerity, and good intention.
In a world that can easily pull us toward ego, distraction, and temptation, this painting reflects my desire to stay grounded in what truly matters. It is a quiet prayer to remain on the right path and to continually choose the people, places, and values that bring light, peace, and genuine connection.
